February 2025 – Las Vegas, NV

Army of the Tread has formally engaged Moody’s Investors Service to provide a Second Party Opinion (SPO) on the company’s Green Bond Framework. The SPO process will independently assess the alignment of Army of the Tread’s planned bond issuance with recognized environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, providing investors with a credible measure of the bond’s sustainability performance.

The Green Bond Raise, targeted at a minimum of $25 million, will fund the development of high-capacity EV charging hubs across priority locations, beginning with the flagship N. Tenaya site in Las Vegas. By working with Moody’s, Army of the Tread aims to provide institutional investors with third-party verification of its environmental commitments and project impact.

“Transparency and credibility are at the core of our financing strategy,” said Ron Jones, Founder & CEO of Army of the Tread. “A Moody’s SPO gives our investors confidence that their capital is being directed toward projects with genuine environmental and social benefits.”

The SPO will evaluate Army of the Tread’s framework against global green finance standards, including the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) Green Bond Principles. Upon completion, the rating will be published and made available to potential investors and underwriting partners.

Engaging Moody’s marks a key step in Army of the Tread’s 2025 financing plan, setting the stage for direct outreach to financial institutions and alignment with public-sector funding opportunities such as the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program.
